Integrated ATPL (Europe)

Based at our European Airline Academy in sunny Ponte de Sor, Portugal this pilot training course includes all the required examinations to be issued with an Integrated Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Possibility to carry out the ATPL (A) theoretical part of the course at our Airline Academy in Bergamo Orio Al Serio, Italy and then complete the practical part of the course at Ponte de Sor, Portugal.

Training takes place at our unique purpose-built European Academy, with fantastic facilities including an 1.800 meter runway, Instrument Landing System (ILS), a theory and simulator center, a maintenance center and an aeronautical campus ready to accommodate up to 400 student pilots per year.

Due to our location in Ponte de Sor in Portugal, our European Airline Academy enjoys some of the best weather conditions in Europe, making it ideal for flight training.

Entry criteria

Studying for you Integrated ATPL in Ponte de Sor, Portugal, combines learning with an ideal climate, outstanding teaching and perfect flying conditions.

Age and height

Be at least 17 to submit an application

Be at least 18 to commence training

Minimum height 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm), maximum height 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm)*

Education and English language

Be able to demonstrate that you have successfully completed secondary or high school education (or equivalent)

Be fluent in English (verbal and written)**

Medical

Be able to obtain an EASA Class 1 Medical without restrictions

Have the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland

Airline Qualification Course (AQC)

Preparing for your Co-Pilot role

Once you have completed the Integrated ATPL program, our Airline Qualification Course (AQC) is widely accepted by airlines as an industry standard for new pilots at entry level.

The AQC is delivered on Boeing or Airbus simulators over three weeks and may be held at an alternative L3 training facility. Once you have successfully completed the AQC our graduate placement team will strive to find you a Co-Pilot role with an airline.
