Endeavor STEP

STEP is a program for aviation students and flight instructors to help prepare you for a successful career as a pilot in the airline industry. Endeavor Air will make regular visits to give presentations, answer questions, and — when you’re ready — conduct on-site interviews.

Consider this your first “step” to flying at Endeavor, and eventually, Delta Air Lines.

From Endeavor to Delta Air Lines

Take advantage of Endeavor's STEP program and their guaranteed flow to Delta Air Lines.

Find out how you can go from no flight experience to flying at Delta via Endeavor:

Step 1 - Enroll at L3

The first step in your journey to becoming an Airline Pilot is to enroll in  our Professional Pilot Program or Airline Pilot Track. Both of these programs include accredited curriculum and airline oriented training that can take you from no experience to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor in as little as 15 months!

Step 2 - Join Endeavor's STEP

The next step is to apply to the Endeavor STEP, a program to help cadets and flight instructors prepare for a successful career as a pilot!

Step 3 - Build Your Experience

Those that complete our Professional Pilot Program or Airline Pilot Track are guaranteed an interview to Flight Instruct at L3 in Florida. Our Instructors fly an average of 100 hours per month and 96% of our cadets who stay at L3 to instruct are placed at an airline!

Step 4 - Become an Airline Pilot

After reaching the FAA mandated 1500 hours of flight time, you will be eligible to earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. As part of Endeavor's STEP, a recuiter will come to L3 campus for your interview. As an Endeavor First Officer, you will have an earnings potential of $61k to $72k!

Step 5 - Fly at Delta Air Lines

Endeavor Air is the only regional carrier to offer pilots a defined career path to Delta Air Lines. Each month, the names of 24 eligible Endeavor pilots will be submitted to Delta as part of the Delta Guaranteed Interview (DGI) Program. Offered exclusively to Endeavor pilots, the DGI Program puts you ahead of thousands of external candidates on your path to flying at Delta.

The Major Airlines await!
