Find out how you can go from no flight experience to flying at Delta or United via SkyWest:

Step 1 - Graduate from L3

The first step in your journey to becoming an Airline Pilot is to graduate from our Professional Pilot Program or Airline Pilot Track. Both of these programs include accredited curriculum and airline oriented training that can take you from no experience to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor in as little as 15 months!

Step 2 - Build Your Experience

Becoming a Flight Instructor is one of the best ways to build up your flight time. Those that complete our Professional Pilot Program or Airline Pilot Track are guaranteed an interview to instruct at L3 Flight Academy in Florida. Our Instructors fly an average of 100 hours per month and 96% of our cadets who stay at L3 to instruct are placed at an airline!

Step 3 - Interview with SkyWest

The next step is to apply to the SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program. If accepted, you will begin to recieve the SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program benefits! Being accpeted means you will have a direct path to the flight deck!

Step 4 - Become an Airline Pilot

After reaching the FAA mandated 1500 hours of flight time, you will be eligible to earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Upon completion of your ATP and SkyWest training, you will offically be an Airline Pilot!

Step 5 - Fly at Delta or United

SkyWest pilots recieve access to guaranteed application and resume review programs for both Delta Air Lines and United Airlines.
