IndiGo is the foremost low-cost airline operating out of India and is working with L3Harris Airline Academy to bring you this Cadet Pilot Program.


Selected by IndiGo from day one, you will embark upon a unique route of training. Successful completion of training and the final checks by IndiGo will take you directly to the role of Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and international routes.

The next selection event will be held November 11 and 12 in Delhi (Le Meridien Gurgaon Delhi NCR).

Reduced rate of £155 (reduced from £255) for the November Selection event if the applicant applies and signs up for the event by 21 October 2019.

Entry criteria

To apply for this airline cadet pilot program, you must meet the following requirements:


Must be between 18 and 32 years of age at time of application

Education and English language

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Minimum Education Qualification: 10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 – Individually in each subject i.e. Physics / Mathematics / English or a Higher Degree in these subjects with minimum of 51%.


Able to obtain and maintain Indian DGCA and FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate


Have a valid passport and the unrestricted right to live and work in India, with the ability to travel unrestricted worldwide

Background and selection

Able to produce a Criminal Record Check (CRC) Basic Disclosure Certificate and pass all IndiGo referencing checks
