Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an OEM Data Specialist to join our successful procurement team, based at our Crawley hub.

This position is best suited to highly motivated individuals who can work under minimal supervision and integrate well in a fast paced multi-discipline team environment, which focuses on continuous improvement of our processes, products and customer deliveries.

What you’ll be doing:

Working as part of the Procurement Team, the primary purpose of this role is to ensure continued adherence to all OEM Data Licensing requirements in the support of the manufacture an operation of Full Flight Simulators and Flight Training Devices.

In line with L3Harris core values, to focus on increasing customer satisfaction while maintaining an ethical approach to business and demonstrate Integrity, Excellence and Respect in all aspects of the role.  

Core responsibilities will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Main focal point for all OEM data licensing requirements for Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Responsible for the implementation and adherence to data control procedures in accordance with Contractual and Export control requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Data Sharing restrictions
  • Management of OEM data and Software updates
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate data in support of the Monthly EAC cycle.
  • Demonstrating and Promoting adherence to company processes and effective use of the company ERP system.
  • Support internal stakeholders in training in the use of OEM VQ/DQ systems
  • Responsible for identifying the correct licensing and data requirements for each programme
  • Control the release of Purchase Requisitions to manage Revenue Recognition and Cash Flow in line with current business requirements

 

About you: 

You’ll need previous knowledge and experience in the implementation and adherence to data control procedures, particularly in one or more areas such as: 

Essential skills and experience

  • Excellent Communication skills verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and process discipline
  • Strong organisational skill
  • Experience in using ERP
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office applications

 

Qualification and educational requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE level A-C (or equivalent) including English and Math
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Aviation based or Data Licensing role
