Sales and Marketing Assistant - Whiteley

THIS ROLE IS BEING ADVERTISED ON BEHALF OF: Flight Data Services, Whiteley

Main Purpose:  Flight Data Services provide an outsourced Flight Data Analysis service to aircraft operators worldwide.  As a Sales and Marketing Assistant you will provide administrative assistance to the FDS Sales and Marketing teams

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Responsible for assisting with global marketing for the Flight Data Services group
  • Assisting with the marketing and PR communications, design work, branding, advertising, events, online presence, promotional items and all other marketing activities.
  • Continued research of competitors, customers and industry related news articles.
  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan & budget
  • Assist and expand the company’s digital presence.
  • Manage communications campaigns to deliver effective and timely communications to key audiences through advertising, social media, press releases, newsletters and direct mail. Logging coverage and response rates.
  • Provide feedback on website performance using google analytics.
  • Manage company collateral - brochures, white papers, sales literature and email campaigns.
  • Liaise with external organisations as required to ensure smooth delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain the marketing events calendar and book conferences including delegate registrations and exhibitor packages.
  • Liaison with the IATA marketing department
  • Represent the company at international safety conferences and events


Sales

  • Provide admin support to the UK Sales lead and deputising when required
  • Managing incoming sales enquiries for our services
  • Sales reporting
  • Arrange and present online demonstrations
  • Initial response to RFP’s
  • Prepare and send sales proposals
  • Manage Hubspot administration (CRM)
  • Liaise with global customers by telephone and email.
  • Provide customer support on the company website via live chat.
  • Lead generation through online activity.
  • Responsible for the New Customer procedure set up.



Education

 Marketing Degree and some marketing and sales experience

 A-Level English preferable.

Experience

  •  Ability to write copy.
  •  Ability to manage the social media accounts and generate ideas.
  •  Ability to learn and work with email delivery systems and Content Management Systems.
  •  CRM experience
  •  Experience with the Adobe CC, Photoshop, InDesign would be an advantage.
