JOB TITLE:   Training Schedule Administrator

REPORTS TO:  Training Delivery and Scheduling Manager

LOCATION:   Bournemouth Training Center

Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Training Schedule Administrator to join our busy team reporting to the Training Delivery and Scheduling Manager

Core duties will involve, but not be limited to:

• Work closely with the Scheduling Coordinator to create the daily training schedule with consideration of cadet prioritization, aircraft capabilities and course syllabus to maximize the utilization of resources.

• Regularly communicate with the Operations department, instructors and cadets to ensure that unforeseen changes to aircraft serviceability and instructor availability are recognized in the daily schedule.

• As required, liaise with relevant departments to plan remedial details for cadets who have underperformed on certain events.

• Develop and publish a weekly training plan based on forecast weather conditions as well as available aircraft and instructors.

• Organize facilities and resources to accommodate other training center activity including staff training and instructor interviews.

• Focal for all cadet and instructor scheduling queries.

• Create and send customer feedback surveys to cadets finishing the Bournemouth phase of training.

• Receive and authorize cadet leave requirements.

• Assist with the cadet sign out process to ensure that applications are completed correctly to ensure that licenses are issued without delay.

• Work with the Training Management team to maintain electronic flight instructor qualification records.

• Act in the role of customer advocate, working in partnership with other members of the wider Academy team, to find a way to resolve customer issues or requests fully.

• Complete other duties that may be reasonably required within the Operations Team.

• Maintain a level of training course knowledge appropriate for the role.


Qualifications and educational requirement:
• Educated to GCSE English and Maths, Level A-C (or equivalent)

Skills and experience:
• Proven organisational and administrative skills with demonstrable success in managing a variety of tasks and/or activities
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office
• Solid numeracy skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, confident and highly collaborative
• Ability to work in a high pressured and dynamic environment
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements
• Demonstrate proven problem solving abilities
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Professional telephone and written communication and presentation skills
• International outlook, ability to deal comfortably with various cultures is preferred
• Proactive approach with the ability to react quickly to unplanned scenarios
• Flexibility and ability to work well as part of a dynamic team
• A “can do” attitude and able to operate in a high pressure business environment
• Previous operational aviation training industry knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
