The L3Harris Airline Academy fleet in the United Kingdom, Portugal and New Zealand.

EASA training fleet

The L3Harris flight academy fleet is impressive. As part of L3Harris Commercial Aviation, a global leader in aviation technology, our cadets have access to the very latest training systems from across the business when learning how to become a pilot.

Ground training

During your first phase of EASA pilot training, known as ground school or ground training, you will undertake procedure training on interactive Flat-Panel Devices. We use traditional media, blended with the very latest Computer-Based and Tablet-Based technologies. Later stages of ground training will involve advanced flight and Type Rating training in our Full Flight Simulators.

Aircraft fleet

One of the largest fleets in the industry with over 191 aircraft, mainly equipped with Garmin G1000 Electronic Flight Instruments (EFIS) that reflect the avionics technology found on an airliner flight deck. To enhance the safety of our airborne training as part of our pilot courses, we have also specified the very latest version of the airline-style Traffic Advisory System (TAS) to provide our pilots with an 'extra pair of eyes and ears' in the cockpit.
