Pilot Pathways Scholarships

The Pilot Pathways Scholarships have been designed to help improve diversity of the flight deck by offering financial assistance to those that otherwise might not be able to follow their dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot.

The L3Harris Flight Academy Pilot Pathways Scholarships are among the most sought-after forms of financial aid for aspiring pilots as any funding awarded does not have to be paid back! By applying for the Pilot Pathways Scholarships cadets could receive up to $30,000 toward the cost of pilot training for our Professional Pilot Program (PPP) or Airline Pilot Track (APT).

L3Harris Flight Academy’s accreditation also gives cadets access to other sources of funding; state loans and Federal Financial Aid, which can be combined with Pilot Pathways Scholarship.

Additional Funding Options

Pilot Pathways Scholarships are just one funding option. L3Harris also offers financial aid options to qualifying students in the form of federal funding and private loans. Federal funding and state or private loans can be used alongside a Pilot Pathways Scholarship to fund your pilot training.

Federal financial aid is available to US citizens enrolled in our PPP course and could cover up to 100% of your pilot training costs. If you are interested in an APT course or another pilot training program, you can also apply for state or private loans.

For more information on pilot training costs and funding your aviation training, take a look at our FAA Pilot Training Cost page and FAA Flight School Loans Guidance page.
